Well-being Assessment 2022
This is the second Well-being Assessment undertaken by the Vale PSB, with the last assessment published in 2017.
A View of the Vale of Glamorgan:
A View of the Vale of Glamorgan – An assessment of Current and Future Well-being brings together the findings of the assessment and provides the links to the four themed reports which provide a detailed analysis of data and evidence. This assessment has drawn-on a range of national and local data, research and evidence alongside the findings of the ‘Let’s Talk’ engagement to consider the state of economic, social, environmental and cultural well-being across the Vale of Glamorgan. The Well-being Assessment is made-up of a suite of reports which bring together the many different factors which impact well-being.
Cardiff and Vale of Glamorgan Population Needs Assessment:
The Social Services and Well-being Act (Wales) Act 2014 introduced a duty on local authorities and Local Health Boards to prepare and publish an assessment of care and support needs of the population, including carers who need support. The Cardiff and Vale of Glamorgan RPB has most recently undertaken its second Population Needs Assessment (PNA). This assessment considers the care and support needs of different population groups across the Cardiff and Vale region, the findings of the assessment have been reflected in the different elements of the Well-being Assessment where relevant.
